Objective
Demonstrate abilities to create an application that addresses a specific need. Develop a name for the app. Design an icon system for navigation. Use typography that is suitable for on-screen use. Create an interactive prototype.
First Sketches
The initial sketches focused on creating a general idea for a layout that would later be recreated digitally
Initial Digital Iterations
Most of the sketches were turned into digital iterations to have a foundation that could be built off of in revisions. Color options, possible buttons, and interactive elements were explored to start considering the usability of the app.
Revisions
After the initial ideas, some color choices were revised. A top bar to contain the sidebar button, wordmark, and account button was also added.
Final Designs
The interactivity and animation of the app was updated to provide an interactive interface and the pop-ups were added to provide a more comprehensive and editable search experience.
